RCH Switches to Online Worship Again

The Presidium of RCH issued a Communique requesting congregations to suspend all church events with physical presence and switch again to online platforms as of 11th November.

New Restrictions due to COVID-19

The Presidential Council of RCH released new guidelines for congregations in accordance with the strict rules introduced by the Government on 9 November, including curfew, closure of businesses and serious limitation of social events.

First Results in the General Elections

Rev. Zoltán Balog has been elected as Bishop of the Danubian Church District with headquarters in Budapest. The Bishop elect will take over office on 1th January 2021. Sándor Veres was re-elected as Lay President of the District.

Online Prayer Day and Roma Mission Field Trip

The Roma Mission Theologian Tield Trip had to move to the online world. Senior theologian-pastoral students at Károli Gáspár University were able to take part in an intimate and informative three day course where they gained good experience for their future service.

Capacity of HRCA Extended

The Hungarian Reformed Church Aid (HRCA) established a new logistics centre in Ebes, a city in Eastern-Hungary, near Debrecen, which was officially opened on 4 September. The new site offers job opportunities for people with disabilities.
